WHO WE ARE
We are a community-centered nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting refugee and immigrant individuals and families through language access, education, and culturally responsive services.
Elyajouri Association was created to address the barriers that prevent many newcomers from accessing essential services, participating fully in society, and feeling supported in their new communities.
Through direct support, advocacy, and collaboration with institutions, we work to ensure that language and cultural differences never stand in the way of dignity, opportunity, or belonging.

Our mission is to ensure that refugee and immigrant individuals and families receive the support they need, when they need it, without barriers.
Whether it is language access, guidance navigating essential services, educational support, or simply the reassurance that they are not alone, we are committed to providing support that meets people where they are, in a timely and culturally responsive way.

We envision a world where refugee and immigrant communities feel supported, connected, and able to access essential services without fear or limitation.
Our team strives for a society where individuals facing language or cultural barriers feel empowered to seek support and access education, opportunity, and community resources wherever they live. We work to remove barriers and strengthen access to support systems.
